Prayer for the Long Life of Ringu Tulku Rinpoche

DU-SUM JAL-WAY CHI- ZUK KAR-MA PAY

I pray for the long life of the one who accomplishes changeless activity,

TEN-PAY KUR-CHEN DEK-LA MI-NGAL-WA
Who has trained his being with the armour of pure conduct,

NAM-DA TSUL-TRIM GO-CHAY JYU-JANG SHING
And who is untiring in carrying the great burden of the Teachings

JYUR-MAY TRIN-LAY CHAY-PO SHAB-TEN MÖN
Of the Karmapa-embodiment of the Buddhas of the three times.

This brief long-life prayer for Tulku Karma Tsultrim Jyurme Trinlay was written,in accordance with the request of his pupils, by the Tai Situpa.(The order of the words in the translation does not coincide with that in the phonetics, the English lines being in the reverse order to the Tibetan, Jyurmay Trinlay/changeless activity, Tsultrim/good conduct.)

Rain of Deathless Amrita

Long Life Prayer for the Protector of Beings, Ringu Tulku

NAMO AYUSIDDHI VAJRAYE

Within the changeless space of the Dharmadhatu,
You display an ocean of invincible forms
And joyfully play in the sacred dance of immortality.
You who grant the siddhi of long life, Amitayus, please bestow your protection.

Endowed with numerous actions of Samantabhadra,
He holds an inexhaustible treasury of precious teachings.
The wisdom of his discernment brilliantly radiates
And his meditation is constantly stable.

Source of many activities bringing benefit both now and later,
Protecting sentient beings like a majestic mountain (RI),
His throat (GUL) is imbued with a million melodies of the Dharma.
This emanation (TULKU) upholds the banner of the saffron robes.

May his life and glory attain the seven indestructible qualities,
Like that of Amitayus.
May his fearless power and wisdom always expand.
May these pure aspirations bear fruit like the wish-fulfilling tree,

And these prayers be spontaneously accomplished right now.
May he gain the power to bring all beings to the path of the ten virtues,
And lead them to experience the primordial, true nature.
May he attain the state of unchanging, limitless life.

Being impressed, as the primary cause, by the way this tulku benefits the Buddha's teachings, and through the condition of being requested by some of his students, this prayer was written in the third month by the one called Gyaltsap Kirti (His Eminence Gyaltsap Rinpoche). May its benefit increase.
